Four Dark Eyes

Morn's light falls sharp

on four dark eyes.

It's whopping hard

to spec/surmise

how such light feels,

of course, to them.

But what surprise?

Aha! ahem:

The two furred seals

oft look off damp-sands beach

to azure skies.

-----

But then ...

by that glared light they see

each other's eyes,

and round them hear

such anguished cries.

You swing your club in hands

You swing your club in hands with such a velvet glove, and all the more effective for that. Pithy and exquisitely pointed. Mike
