Their very own Ithaki

What he loved in her was her astonishing beauty, her special smile… Pure, elegant, just simply breathtaking

what he loved in her was the color of her eyes… the blue of the Aegean Sea… It was startling

what he loved in her was her beautiful mind… A mind so crisp, so sharp, so very smart…

what he loved in her was her most lovely personality. She was so very tender, she had a loving heart.

He had traveled his long Odyssey all these endless years; but his Ithaki was nowhere to be found

he traveled the world, visited far away places northbound and southbound

he had traveled long days, days without an end, days with lots of pain and tribulations

and yet, finally, one day, he found his beloved Ithaki. After all this pain and endless missions

he found his hard sought Ithaki. His Ithaki was friendship, his Ithaki was love, his Ithaki was sharing.

It was deep affection, it was authentic trust, it was pure joy, it was wonderful caring

He was a dreamer and all his dreams had come true…He had found his Ithaki

His Ithaki was his Elaine. It was now their Ithaki, their very own Ithaki

They had both wandered the world desperately searching for each other

and finally, after all these endless years the magic veil of fate brought them so ever close to one another.

The veil of fate had brought them together, the veil of fate would keep them together forever...
