For Lost Tender Souls
Children smitten abused deprived,Their soul’s empted hung out to dry,Some with strings unloved plucked -From their mothers sideTears falling crying pain,Deep down insideA sad indictment of our times, Look around and see the dread,Day by day more lay dead,Starved pot-bellied eyed,Hands cupped begging for theMere essence of life, The world screams quietlyYet blindly we all walk by,There is no colour,- to which
escapes this crime,How cruel is fate;
For this so easily -
Could have been you or I,
