Afraid to ask, just too afraid,,,
It’s often hard to ask the question when the answer you know not your heart pounds your hands shake your mind gallops. You’re afraid, you fear, the answer you might get might not be the very answer you want to hear. Now he was in deeper agony, now he was perplexed, he was in distress, he was thinking in pain should he ask her for dinner? Thoughts danced through his anxious mind. His heart fluttered, his soul feared. She would probably say no. She would find an excuse, she had to go home early, she was too tired. He thought and thought… The moments passed, moments of heartbreak moments that seemed like hours, fear overcame him, agony tortured him… And yet after a long anguish after ceaseless torment he found the courage. He asked her to dinner… The answer came instantly: it was a big yes! He was a very happy man! He was in heaven… They spent hours over dinner. The table was beautifully set, the ambiance was superb, the wine was nectarous, the food was delicious. But none of all that was on their mind. Their mind was elsewhere. Their mind was far, far way their mind was in the sky, their hearts pounded, their souls fluttered. Magical feelings overcame them. Tender, caring thoughts enveloped their souls. The magic of Eros draped their hearts. And they both knew. They both knew what their hearts really felt. They constantly looked, they ceaselessly gazed at each other’s beautiful blue eyes. They smiled; they smiled constantly. They discovered new feelings about each other. They felt admiration, they felt trust, they felt tenderness. They were passionate, they cared so much for one another. Their hearts were now pounding together. Their souls were now intertwined. Their love was very rare indeed on this earth. Like a beautiful Alpine flower, like a brilliant diamond, like an exquisite pearl, like pure gold. They were two very lucky people….
