Love letter to Elaine...

    My Elaine,

It is the color of your eyes that I love the most.

They are crystal blue, they are brilliant and they shine.

They are bright, they are luminous and they are simply divine.

They have the passionate blue

of the clear sky of a breathtaking springtime day.

It is in these blue eyes that I see your lovely bright, sharp mind.

It is in these very eyes that I recognize your determination and passionate devotion.

Yes, it is in these blue eyes that I admire your kind, loving and warm soul.

And, most of all, it is in these very same eyes

that I strongly feel your very true, caring and affectionate love for me…

I love you too, Elaine, I do, ever so much…

Thank you for your kind words for my poem. She certainly does exist and you can even find her profile by typing "Elaine" in the search box. She has written a few poems, quite different than mine. Also if you read my poem "My Ithaki" under my profile or again with the search-box you will see her reply to a love letter / short story I wrote. It's long but I believe you will like it. your love letter is deeply passionate friend..n yes it has to be for your love for her seems deeper still.as i go through ur poem...a picture of a silent, deep blue sea flashes before me. it's truly passionate. loved it v. much. al the v. best MeanderS
