A Million Roses

The funeral procession is marching down

Take a second,

Look around

And what do you see?

And what do you dream?

~A Million Roses~

A million roses

Fall from the sky

As you watch

Loved ones die

A million roses

Lay at your feet

They raise black heads,

Their victory, your defeat

The funeral procession is marching down

Take a second,

Look around

And what do you see?

And what do you dream?

~A Million Roses~

In a million roses

Stained blood red

Lies your corpse

No eyes, no head

A million roses

Cold and dead

Make the pillow

On your bed

The funeral procession is marching down

Take a second,

Look around

And what do you see?

And what do you dream?

~A Million Roses~

A million roses

velvet soft, satin smooth

they bloom rivers

--Full of blood

And blossom storms

--Raining mud

The funeral procession is marching down

Take a second,

Look around

And what do you see?

And what do you dream?

~A Million Roses~

A Million Roses

With dagger thorns

And petal knives

You see them

Ending lives

this works to a point

In fact it drives a point home as discussed earlier perhaps using the different colors and the significance of such then referencing it with a phase of the deceased life might work Chrys
