Grief
It feels to me as if something’s changed
A turned page, a setting sun
I‘m not sure but something’s strange
There are no answers from anyone
Perhaps it’s that a star has moved
Maybe the moon has altered course
Whatever it is, I don’t reprove
Immoveable object, resistible force
Instinct says I must keep going
Logic says to me the same
But my battered heart, on my sleeve is showing
And I’m looking for someone to blame
A turned page, a setting sun
I‘m not sure but something’s strange
There are no answers from anyone
Perhaps it’s that a star has moved
Maybe the moon has altered course
Whatever it is, I don’t reprove
Immoveable object, resistible force
Instinct says I must keep going
Logic says to me the same
But my battered heart, on my sleeve is showing
And I’m looking for someone to blame
