A love affair...

We walk along the splendid beach under the illustrious August moon. We ponder the stunning, sparkling starlit sky; we dream, we wonder about another world as splendid as the beautiful nature that surrounds us… We sit together and admire the wonders of nature; the blossoming wildflower, the sparkling red rose, the overwhelming waterfall, the dazzling sunrise the colorful, overpowering, romantic sunset.   Fate has now brought us a different twist. Elaine is leaving to study in the States far away from our country. But a promise is always a promise. Love is the mightiest force on earth. Love unites, love bonds, love is the magic of life.   We will be together no matter what the distance. Our hearts and souls will beat like one.

Our thoughts, our minds will be ever so close together…

We will always think of each other. Like one mind. Even from far away we will always be mesmerized by the full moon. When the magnanimous hues of the sunset set upon us when the magic of the glistening stars comes our way

when the splendour of a flower covered prairie dazzles us…

We will always weep when reading a poem and keep thinking, dreaming and hoping…
