The Beast Has Returned
Boom, boom, boom,
I thought we had learned
Don't look now
But, the beast
Has returned
I thought tonight
I would get some relief
But, once again
I steal sleep
Like a thief
Once again
His roar splits the night
Once we prayed for rain
Now, it gives us fright
Every night
It pours from the sky
So much rain
That the crops
Start to die
In the wake
Of his wrath
Many will pay
Many lives will be lost
Many dreams washed away
