Dusted in Fairytales

Sparkling, glistening,
Clean and beautiful,
Safe and secure,
Forever
Trying to hold on-
To this fairytale realm,
This world,
Unbroken,
Dusted in Fairytales,

Sleep is your enemy,
The only time,
Reality,
Can knock upon your door,
Can break into your home,
And make you feel, so alone

Sparkling, glistening,
Clean and beautiful,
Safe and secure,
Forever.
Trying to hold on-
To this fairytale realm,
This world,
Unbroken,
Dusted in Fairytales,

This is the world you want to see,
When you tear yourself away,
From the book that you're reading,
From the picture that you're painting,
This is the world,
That you'll never ever know,

Sparkling, glistening,
Clean and beautiful,
Safe and secure,
Forever
Trying to hold on-
To this fairytale realm,
This world
Unbroken
Dusted in Fairytales.

one tiny problem

this poem is excellent I just have one small suggestion the use of fairytale so many times perhaps you can find synonyms for this word Other then that it is a well constructed poem I enjoyed reading this one. Chrystalie
