Fortune

A fortune’s not a fortune

Till it’s shared

A problem’s still a problem

Till it’s aired

So help out when you can

To support your fellow man

You’ll reap rewards much greater

If you do.

Don’t pass by the man

Who’s on the slippery slope,

lend a hand,

Give him help, give him hope

So become a little bolder

Be a rock or be a shoulder

And your life will be far better

Through and through

A good message presented her with a very good flow to it. Well said and well done. Respectfully, Rett: "We can all be thankful that Picasso wasn't a plastic surgeon." Rett

I liked this poem very much... great message with an excellent flow to it, great said aloud... not all poems are granted that passage... and that is how I choose to live as well and I find it very rewarding... you are very interesting to me, I'll have to read more of your writes... Richard

Patty and Richard

By Heathen i meant that i do not believe, and nothing more than that. I have strong views on most religions which may upset a lot of folk, so its best that I keep them to myself. On the other hand following the philosophies of Jesus, Buddha,Mohammed et al without subscribing to their dogma can only be a good thing, can't it ? I am pleased that you both found this piece interesting and if and when i get time I shall attempt to do even better. thanks again for all your kind words John
