Hi Longo,

I liked this because it's clear and simple. The only bit I'm not sure about is the ending because it's taken from a pop song. Best wishes, Robert.

J.B. Longo-Geremia Yes, I see that ending now from STING, BUT that was a coincidence-- you see my mom died of Parkinsons and 2 years after I was diagnosed with the disease-- and I DO see myself in every move I m ake and every -- painful-- step I take. Had nnothing to do with the song, but now see it. I gu9ess great minds think alike, no? :) Thans ' joe

Parkinson's.

Sorry, I didn't realize there were such harsh circumstances behind this poem. The ending is fine in the light of your difficult situation. Sorry about your mother and I wish you the best in your fight against Parkinson's. Best wishes for Christmas too, Robert.

I think this is very moving Longo, and honest. It saddens me a little.. Your structure works really well for this poem. All the best, ~Stella

How we feel the presence of your mother in this poem

Ann of Norway This has a flow I, love its flow and then there is the content, true to yourself close to yourself, real yet not, how we feel the presence of your mother in this poem as if we should see her the next minute commenting on your piece, I know she liked it and would be proud of her Joe-Guiseppe. Love Annuccia
