The Rivers

Let the rivers
flow far away
into the meadows
to another day.

Let the rivers
run like nerves
flow far away
to be submerged.

Let the rivers
read like tales
with stories told
of many whales.

Let the rivers
see like dogs
help the blind
through the fog.

Nice little story

Ann of Norway Nice little story, would love it to develop a bit longer and have a story within the poem, a little more of it. But I enjoyed its simplicity too. Love Ann
