Blazoned Black Heart

I used to believe in Justice
In morals and virtue
But I now see that
It's all in vain

The world is evil
Crime runs rampant
Anarchy is normalcy
Murder is commonplace

Just as hope was lost for me
I rediscovered order
I must take Justice upon myself
Light must become Darkness

Now the world knows peace
People fear the god of Justice
Criminals are few
People fear the ultimate punishment

I have become death
This Reaper's note is my black heart
I am the criminal
But I Am Justice

I just spent the last week watching the anime Death Note, and the 2 movies based on the series. Katie Thompson gave out titles during Rewards Monday, and we wrote poems with those titles. The title she gave was "Blazoned Black Heart". Apparantly, my Dark Muse took it and ran! Enjoy!
