4 small poems of consecration
swift the heart
should the sun
once again
call these ancient bones
to rise,
swift the heart
like an arrow
flies
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiva's breath
blueberry sky hangs
low
laden with purpose
Shiva
dances
I am not grounded,
a tempest
gathers
we make love
we make war
~~~~~~~~~~~~
if i could
if only
I could be
a cat on your lap
purring
aloof and elegant
the moon
knows
why
Bast
is sacred
to the temple
Goddess,
I awaken,
stretch
with longing.
~~~~~~~~~~
Second Contribution
The second contribution
exhausts the
breath
but not the soul
between
the rust
and diamond dust
breaking through
the silence
the light comes
even now...
should the sun
once again
call these ancient bones
to rise,
swift the heart
like an arrow
flies
