Hunger
You haven’t seen it
But feel it everyday
Disciplined, unlike you
So stubborn and strong
That life’s afraid of it.
No religion, cast or race
Intensity is same for all
It makes you tasteless
Or you can feel sweetness
In the most acerb taste.
Like your expensive perfume
You can feel the smell –
As this is also an agitation
You can sense the presence
Inside of you and looking at me.
For the believers
Jesus is the food of life
They pray for salvation –
But when that feeling crawls in
Every prayer seems a lie.
Deprivation in my plate, on my table
Within me and within you
All the knowhow to provide all
Dying for the deficiency of human will
But life needs to be fed.
Region, country, boundaries
Hold no meanings to it
You cannot kill it nor you can beat
Freedom is joke to a starving man
Freedom- is everyone gets something to eat.
