DANCE OF THE MACABRE

You are the Shadow
of my life, you dance the Macabre
holding no promise -however much I crave the light.
Around youI pirouette in small skilful steps famished by fear
afraid  to  loose my gripand
you.

To glimpse of this love
I  stand coercedin its coldness -it towers over me.Beyond this darknessare thoughts that burnand words that still breathebut no life comes from themor
 you... BjR  17/08/09

Boni

This is beautiful and very dark... I love it. The images are chilling yet somehow sweet. I tip my heat to you for the awesome write. Favorite lines are: I piroutte in small silent steps fed on fear afraid to loose my grip - and you (piroutte should be pirouette.) Always, Cat

Hey THeo!

Obviously not at your speed though? Thanks for commenting. The hardest is taking the criticism - but that's how we learn and improve! Cheers Boni

Dear Boni

Beautifully sad write my friend ... but I loved it ... reminds me of the opposite meaning to one of my recent ones but these are my favourite lines Beyond this darkness are thoughts that burn and words that still breathe but no life comes from them or you… they really are some awesome words , probably one of your best for me .. love Jayne "We did not change as we grew older; we just became more clearly ourselves. Lynn Hall" ...

Thanks Jayne

I get the distinct feeling that this one is 'just for women'? Maybe it's because we "dance to a different drum" or are the only ones who can pirouette? lol Always appreciate your taking the time to stop by! Love Boni
