Well Christmas time is here once more.
The stockings are hung, the wreath's on the door.
The tree's all dressed up, with no place to go,
with presents beneath it, row upon row.

So you've spent your life's savings,
and there's still more to buy.
Second mortgage, a bank loan?
There, there now, don't cry.
 

That old "Christmas spirit", will help pull you through.
With songs, food and presents, shared with those who love you.
So don't worry my friends, there's no need to fear.
You'll get out of debt, by this time next year!
