Summer Romance

Laughing on the beach,
Running from the waves.
Falling in his arms,
As night comes and you shiver.
Everything is perfect,
He says that you’re beautiful,
You hadn’t realised:
He’s got a girlfriend waiting at home.
Summer romances are for summer,
The beaches and the swimsuits.
These are your mother’s words
As she tries to be a comfort.
And summer doesn’t last forever,
Eventually fall will come.
And the waves will sweep away that beach.
And the memories that lived along.

Evie this is great gal

I love this one the only word I see wrong is the word realized, it is with a z,no? Other then that a great summer poem and alas yes the memories of the waves going out to shore with the loved one. Love, Magics02 Learn to live, learn to forgive. Life is too short.
