THE CULT OF RED HAIR

I am  Pre-Raphaelite enigma
       with my flame-red hair
       with my skin of alabaster

I am mistress

I am muse

I am bohemian and loud

I am personification of lust

I am sexually released

I am unforgettable

I am artist

And I hate you. Damn. I

And I hate you. Damn. I always wanted red hair, green eyes and alabaster skin. Neat poem, Ms. Pre-Raphaelite enigma.... ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

As a ginger,

how can I not love this anthem to my kind? As for the last line, what about "I am art", which captures both the artist and the product as I think you're singing praise to both here.

Hey Arrow!

Long time... I toyed with that word...because I agree, it captures the essence of what I was trying to talk about...It was the pre-raphaelite women..Lizzie Siddal et al...that I had in mind. Just a happy coincidence that I look similar! And it's red, not ginger! Ells xx

thanks Judy

Yes...but it was really as the persona of one of those stunning titian haired lovelies that posed for Rosetti, Hunt et al....and gave them superstar status. These women were inspirational...well, they are to me at least! Love your work by the way. Ells x
