Mom...

You always abandoned me,
But you could never see,
The awful pain you put me through,
If you only knew,
The effect you had on me,
I only wanted to be happy,
The time you stormed out the door,
As dad laid on the garage floor,
His head bleeding because of you,
Me and Sam didn't know what to do,
Why Mom Why?
I remember how you would always cry,
I felt so lonely,
I just wanted to be free,
The police were always here,
You are the only one I fear,
Why can't you see,
How much you are hurting me?

It put a shiver up my

It put a shiver up my spine...it's hard to post a poem about family...i still can't post the poem about my real dad. It takes courage and to want the raw truth I think you have done very well. The only critique I have is 'Me and Sam' I would've put 'Sam and I'.

Very true...

That is so very true,it is quite hard to post about family.I get that,my family is full of people that it's hard to post about,I can't complain much about my biological father though,we either get along or we don't.I really don't think it matters too either of us anyway.Lol well it wasn't exactly courage.I had it all typed and was about to submit it when I realized that I just couldn't do it,so I took a litte walk. When I got back to my place I saw my friends bros ride in the drive.I walked into the house and found my best friend at the computer desk.Turns out he saw the poem and decided to submit it for me,he called it doin a good deed,I called it 'Peeving me off',but of course there wasn't much to do.My parents were home so I couldn't commit a murder,oh well. Thanks, and I am going to see what I can di and it still be good.Well thanks.^-^ Ash
