happiness Is

feeling healthy,
holding A1c to within
normal nondiabetic

parameters,

holding diabetes's
monstrous effects on
the body's organs at bay,

having enough insulin
in the fridge
to feel safe (for at
least a spell longer)

while eating
the foods that keep
me most well,

and
having
friends,

especially friends
like Donna/Pete/Kim/

man

Maintaining ones health is a chore in itself. Keeping an animal at bay becomes a job. Ya need to be tough with it and view it just that way - I do. Having the good friends is wonderful. That last word carries enormous wisdom , Sir. This is how I see your poem ^5 on Buster Mark Resilient Flexibility RUN; when there seems to be no answer common sense will not speak, so run - -go running..

Dear Chuck

I am one of the lucky ones I hold my diabetes in check with diet, so far in ten years no meds but I know one day that will change but for the time being strict eating and controlled portions have been my friend love and hugs JayCee x x x ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.-Ivan Panin")

I hear you Chuck,

your Donna/Pete/Kim/ are my Jan/Lindsay/Matt/ without whom the insulin is meaningless, Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible, "the alleged short-cut to knowledge, which is faith, is only a short-circuit destroying the mind." [Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged]
