Robert Frost if I may ask...

For one favor pretty please

Nothing gold can stay, I know the rules

I live by the God-damn creed

But if I may ask of just one thing

Stay pretty gold, stay with me

My mother’s all better now, a golden recovery

The doctor diagnosed

To good health, to good health, lets clink Champaign glasses

Clink Clink to this golden toast

My father he smiles, can you believe it, he smiles

How many years has it been?

We even hug now, these golden hugs now

I’ve missed them in their long absence

My brothers soul, once tortured with mental illness

He has found the golden peace

Relaxed he is calm, Bipolar all gone

Breathing out pain, with a golden release

I now know who I am, love every inch of myself

Enjoying my vices and virtues

Golden girl, my brothers nick name for me

Stay happy, I’m here and I will never let anyone hurt you

So you see Robert Frost, it would simply be cruel

To rob us of our new found pleasure

We earned this gold, fair and square

So back off, let it be, find your own treasure
