Thirst slaked.

Also curiosity about the title (slaked, that is). What is delicious about this drink is its aimful meandering: of tastes, of opposites attracting. I particularly like the concepts of a deafening rainbow and of burning the blood of earth. You are a magician of words, Chuck. So much depth in so few words.
