You promised to bid that heart
a love-a life,

but all it gained
are woes and lies
instead.

So
if you can't keep up
your promises,
and pay that heart its dues,
why don't you
give one last lie?
Say:
I love you

Not too constant myself

dear Rula. Many walks in the woods
take me away, before snow comes.

I sam revising my many poems and
will make myself little books, one of
which will be hand written and painted,
another where the computer reads my
writing and prints it, perhaps with some
photos too. Must also do the promised
book of my relative's poems, or they'll
all die before I've finished!!! ;) Anna

A lovely cry from such a broken place, I would add an "S" to due on that somewhere around line 9. Though it sounds OK then there is the point that more is owed to that Heart..
Take care and keep writing, Yours Ian.T

I shall send

An emergency mend kit for hearts.
It has plasters of love
and wraps of cuddles
that will soon heal the break.
Then a meeting invitation to a like soul
For you to travel on ,
Yours Ian.T
