Does anybody have any idea what the heck "MLA format" means? One of the local literature magazines (The South Carolina Review) requires it and I have no idea what they're talking about..............stan

The site which told me I needed to submit in "improved MLA format" Is a university site. And like you, the results I got pretty much said MLA format is anything submitted via MLA guidelines. Kinda like saying one can tell if he's looking at an elephant if what one is looking at looks like an elephant............stan

It appears that as far as poetry is concerned that MLA means that work should be centered all lines double spaced and if more than a single page all pages should be numbered.............stan
