SEASON'S GREETING

I'm too cheap to send you all a card, so maybe this will suffice LoL

Season's greetings to all here
I wish you all a life of joy
so hoist your eggnog, tea, or beer
whatever drink that you employ

Gather those you love around
in a festive hall and celebrate
take comfort in their raucous sound
and join right in, don't hesitate

Lay pen aside for a short while
and chase the rhymes out of your head
take time to live and laugh and smile
enjoy the yule season instead

Should you find yourself alone
or burdened by your worry
count the blessings that you own
and hug a friend who's small and furry

So during this most special time
with festive tree and wreath on door
whether in warm or chilly clime
remember what the season's for

Have a good holiday, enjoy yourself - but not to much.

I like this stanza - and so will Xena:
