My love to give
My choice not to falter
My choice not to fail

My chance to give wholly
My chance to take rest
My chance to carry
My life to test

My brothers My sisters
my children my kin
My parents My life
My weight of My sin

My walk of shame
My spirit My purity
My love My influence
My reach of Eternity

The Spirit of the day

As a single mother I can't feel the sacrifice given to me in the spirit of my brother my lord. we all give of ourselves everyday without though without forethought. It seemed appropriate for today...

Dear Tommi,

I loved this introspective piece. Self-examination is something I do often. And if I find something undesireable within, I strive to change it. The lines which resonated for me are:

Self-Evaluation

i try to find each topic within myself and bring it outward in prose. It's not intentional but all my works seem to be narrated by the spirit of me. thank you for your comment

This is lovely although I am sure your do not have to feel any shame, I say shame on those who made you feel this. As to sins I feel from this poem that you have never committed any sin either, it is such a lovely thought.
I hope you reach eternity, if that's what you want. This poem would give you a good ticket to it.
