critiquing

When I review a poem, I am being honest and open about my thoughts
as to what I believe needs work and what I think works well there. Sometimes I may write
something that you or others do not agree with. We are a very diverse community.
But, please note, I will never try to degrade a writer or simply say things I
do not totally feel or believe.

Just because a page full of praise is presented, you, as a writer, should still try
to take in all of your feedback.

If anyone would rather I did not review their work, a private message is all it
will take. I will not be offended.

Please, tell me that some idiot did not take offense at your words.
There are no words of your's I will ignore
no thoughts I will not consider,

and honestly, those who would be offended by the honest and objective criticisms of a poet such as you, are either completely stupid, or so self absorbed that they cannot pull their head from their a-
oops, never mind!

I have felt they did.
I appreciate you greatly Jim. I have always valued your opinion. At times, you have helped me see things in
a different light and always give very good advice.
