I want to express this simply
In terms of knowing
I'm not surprised that presence is a transaction
Of misguided perception
In the eyes of your mother
In the eyes of your god
I'd think of holding you
Somewhere when time has moved on
To prey on missed intentions
That fuse deeply with the heart

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

Your poem "3" delves into complex themes of perception, presence, and missed intentions. The imagery of holding onto someone in the passage of time is poignant and evocative. However, there are areas where the poem's meaning may benefit from further clarity or development. Consider providing more concrete details or examples to help readers connect with the emotions and ideas you are exploring. Additionally, pay attention to the flow and structure of your poem to ensure that each line contributes effectively to the overall message. Keep refining your language and imagery to enhance the impact of your work.

If we had...

only known, or circumstances had permitted... That's what I got, I felt the wonder of missed intent or wondering about what was the intent? "Intentions are like dreams; they can be altered by outside influences." I think I read or heard that somewhere.
Very nicely done. ~ Geezer.

I read this

And thought you captured
The misguided sense of hope we hold onto
And then have to wade through the truth.
I wouldn't change a thing.
Its truefully written N im scared to read it again.
It hits hard

Hello!
Having read 1 and 2, I am so curious about all three. I imagine each reader to have their own interpretation, but I'd like a sense of the meaning to you, and if there is a connection between them.
As for me, the line "presence is a transaction..." stays with me. I'll be back!
Thank you!

Hi, Thanks for your…

Hi,

Thanks for your thoughtful comment! 3 isn't intentionally connected to 1 and 2, more of a placeholder title. That said, it was written from a place of lost love or rumination, which might echo some of the themes in the others.
