Addiction
Man I’ve had my share of those both healthy and unhealthy. My behaviors have effected everything I have ever touched. Sometimes they took me to the most amazing places and sometimes they left pretty down and out.
I’ve traded a lot of harmful ones for some healthier ones but I’m not sure if I’ve lost any addictive tendencies. I’m just addicted to writing and art and music more than drugs or sex. Alcohol I gave up altogether as I did tobacco. I’m a lifer with cannabis and I’m very ok with my relationship to that most excellent plant.
I’m also addicted to oxytocin. I feel like the only thing that compares to the highs I felt in the pinnacle of my using is the feeling I get from physical intimacy with my wife. I’m talkin everything from holding hands to a home run. It’s my favorite drug ever by far!

Your comments are interesting. My goal really was to show the usually devastating affects addiction has on those not addicted!

Dear Clentin
An addiction can kill those we love. Sometimes the agony of seeing someone you love literally destroying themselves can destroy you along with them.
I think this is one of your best.
Really well done!!
