Andrew

Andrew
We are all
God's child
He is the one
That made us
We have to be happy
To be alive
In his world
We must be grateful for all
The things we have
I am happy that we have
A roof over our heads
And a bed to sleep on
Andrew continue
Dreaming every night
Because dreaming is like
Breathing
Keep the good friends you have
Believe me
There is good and bed people out
There
Lets built our trust
On each other
Also let our friendship grow
Stronger
Lets say thanks for the food
We have to eat
Every single day
AIso we must watch our money
And not spend it like water
Yes we can't buy health with money
It is God that gave us the gift of health
We must look after our health
Every single day
We can't afford to let our health
Go down hill
We must stay sober
If we smoke we will ruin our
Lungs
And we will die of lung cancer
We have no right to gamble with our lives
Our lives are precious
It is our Father that gave to us
We will get older every year
I want to grow old together with you
I will die before you
And it is not going to be easy
To live without me
Because I will be in heaven
Living my new life
And I will not suffer anymore
In heaven
There will be a place in heaven for you
When you die

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:

This poem adopts a direct, didactic tone, offering advice and reflections on gratitude, health, friendship, and faith. The structure is free verse, with short lines and a conversational cadence that underscores the poem’s earnestness. The speaker addresses Andrew personally, which creates a sense of intimacy and specificity, though the advice and sentiments are broadly applicable.

The poem’s strengths lie in its clarity and sincerity. The language is straightforward, making the message accessible. The repetition of certain phrases (“every single day,” “we must”) reinforces the poem’s moral and spiritual imperatives.

However, the poem could benefit from greater attention to imagery and specificity. Most lines present general statements or advice without grounding them in concrete details or sensory experiences. Introducing more vivid, particular images or anecdotes could make the poem more engaging and memorable. For example, rather than stating, “I am happy that we have / A roof over our heads / And a bed to sleep on,” the poem could describe a specific moment of gratitude or a scene that illustrates these comforts.

The poem’s lineation is sometimes inconsistent, with some lines breaking at arbitrary points, which can disrupt the flow. Reviewing line breaks to ensure they add emphasis or musicality, rather than simply dividing sentences, could strengthen the poem’s rhythm and impact.

There are several typographical and grammatical inconsistencies (“bed people” instead of “bad people,” “lets built” instead of “let’s build,” “AIso” instead of “Also”) that distract from the poem’s message. Careful proofreading would help maintain the poem’s credibility and readability.

The poem’s conclusion, which anticipates the speaker’s death and reunion in heaven, introduces a poignant shift. This section could be deepened by exploring the emotional nuances of loss and hope, perhaps through metaphor or more evocative language.

Overall, the poem communicates its themes clearly but would be strengthened by more concrete imagery, careful attention to line breaks, and proofreading. Exploring the emotional landscape with more specificity could also enhance the poem’s resonance.
