Anger driven

It wasn't until you stepped out of the grey
Did I notice
You were a wolf in sheep's clothing

An anger hardened dog
Ready to come at me
And tear at my flesh

Neopoet AI 5-29-23 version

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Anger driven" explores the realization of someone's true nature, specifically their anger and aggression. The use of the metaphor "wolf in sheep's clothing" effectively conveys the idea of someone hiding their true intentions. The poem is concise and to the point, which adds to its impact.

One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more specific details or imagery to enhance the reader's understanding and emotional connection. For example, you could describe the physical appearance of the person or delve into specific actions or behaviors that demonstrated their anger. This would help paint a clearer picture and make the poem more vivid.

Additionally, consider varying the structure and rhythm of the poem to create a more dynamic flow. Experiment with different line lengths or use punctuation strategically to create pauses or emphasize certain words or phrases. This can add depth and musicality to the poem.

Overall, "Anger driven" effectively conveys its message, but further development of imagery and exploration of poetic techniques could enhance its impact.

What you mean...

to say, is that you are going to leave us with that image? Without even a hint of what may transpire? Okay, I get it. It's holiday season, slack off. [Just kidding.] This looks like a good start to something more. ~ Geezer.

Haha!

I'm definitely intending to add to this poem, but because of the situation this came from, I have nothing left to add at the moment. I figured I'd add it to my collection as is for now.

I agree

With Gee that this could turn into something more. This is a great introduction filled with intense imagery. I am familiar with wolves in sheep's clothing and am curious to see how this ends.

I will most definitely be updating this poem as it comes, but for now this is all I've got. Can't rush poetry, you know? I'm curious to see how it ends too.
