Antisocial

I am antisocial lock myself away from the Sun

I am happy just being in a crowd of one

I spend my days and nights talking to myself

When all is said and done I am all I have left

Not having a phone does not bother me at all

No one ever calls and I have no one to call

I am antisocial I have no need of friends

That is where the heartbreak always begins

Watch television by myself in a dark room

See a world filled with so much gloom

Live alone and that is the way I will die

No one will even know the reason why

I am antisocial people cannot help me

This is how I am and the way I always will be

Confused??

It seems you are happy in your crowd of one...I get that, no problem, but then you say about the heartbreak begins? So either you are happy with your lot or you are heartbroken?

I am not sure the message you want to share works?

Thanks for the comment One. Sorry for the confusion. "Seems" is the operative word. "Happy" is also said in a sarcastic sense. Also, being bipolar that is how it is sometimes. Happy and sad at the same time is a common feeling for me.

I understand the feeling of being happy/sad at the same time. Sometimes being alone has its benefits and other times, we long for company, sometimes both at the same time. Great job.
