Beauty
Beauty is not forever
It’s only nature’s kiss
So sadly we remember
Flowers wither, thorns persist

Remember...
that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and beauty is certainly a matter of perspective. ~ Geezer.

Beautiful
I love the short simplicity of this write and how it packs such a powerful meaning. We tend to remember the thorns that never seem to go away and forget about the beautiful moments we may have shared.

Beauty is short-lived!
Ephemeral beauty: I can say in nature nothing is perfect!
But when Socrates says beauty is short lived, it means that beauty can only last a person so long until someone else shows them up in beauty. In other words, if you use your beauty to get what you want out of life, remember it will only take you so far … until someone else shows you up, out does you, or if you age poorly, then your beauty would probably expire sooner than you hope, but nonetheless it will expire eventually. Everyone has an expiration date, at least within this human reality they do. So don’t hold on to your beauty as if it’s a timeless treasure to you, because it will let you down . Instead work on feeding your soul… making yourself feel alive as much as you can for the moment would be more worth while.
Apt and yet full of thought!.
