Belated Spring
I was here before
every year on winter trail
late this year in fear
I see lot has changed
more felled bodies laid restless
in frozen layers
I shiver in fear
of drowning my rustic charm
in bleeding rivers
Yet I must rise soon
for hope to win over fear
and bring back the cheer
