Your title is great...
I like the theme, as it does indeed, seem to be deeper than is first apparent.
The beginning was a scenario that leads to the whole of the tale, and ultimately, the fitting end.
Very nicely done, with a familiar fantasy family. ~ Geez.

How I Love
these stories. I still have a couple of well thumbed copies and sometimes, late at night, they come off the shelf. My favourite, 'In search of a Heffalump'. My favourite character. Alexander Beetle.
