Betwixt LIFE and Death!

You are better than most inept folks,
This side of the divide,
Between heaven
and
existing life

'''There is no life after death.'''

Simply observe a frozen rat,
He couldn't have been weeping for anyone.

I see your hand sturdier than mine,
With typing so flawless
Take death out of your mind
And
You will then only know
There is no soul,
No heaven,
No life beyond death

Of your faith in God I,
Will not delve,
As I believe in only one God
Of whose element I am
The Sun and Time

Albeit…

I am a loner in my crevice like mind,
Of an ill fathomed society
Which I alone can't deny.

Who am I to say what!
Jess or no Jess,
Guess it alone,
When you cross the bridge,
It will be greener paradise
You will never be alone.
God bless you all
Till your new sojourn

Loved

An excellent piece young Bard

Sadie say's that there is another side,
The bridge you cross you will realise
will be a beautiful one.

It is a pity that I cannot send you
Some of her talking
Then your inner eyes would be open.

As we all know life here can be so cruel
To learn lessons you will get through
There to sing of all the things we do

To make a better you or me.
You know my name
Just call and see.

Yours Ian.T

Ian you are my eyes, ears and mind,

Without you a word
I can't find
And in my dreams poetry emanates...
I am no poet to date,
I know not the nuances of poetry,
Yet it surprises me,
When many read it still

Am I the small bard?
You make out of me,
As words flow out
Like milk and cream…
The choice of words emanates from my mind,
Many say it’s not up to date
Albeit I am never too late
To accept a kick from Jess,
I do confess.
There are some master poets here,
All are not like me,
IAN my good friend and deer
Hope you do kindly hear.

Dear Loved,

A universal and controversial subject you have chosen to write about! Excellent!
(I don't beleive in heaven or hell) I liked these lines:

I see your hand sturdier than mine,
With typing so flawless
Take death out of your mind
And
You will then only know
There is no soul,
No heaven,
No life beyond death

Thank you Cat

as always ,

You help me realize,
that I may have some latent natural potential
as a poet....
even though not of
Neopoet's high equilibrium

This is a most powerful poem:

This is a most powerful poem:

Your poetry has an interesting dialectic: two opposing thoughts, each valid in its own right, and then a coming together or synthesis of the two.You are very succesful at this.
