The Blush
I gave the poem to him
to thank him for his help.
He blushed.
He had never
been given a poem
written especially
for him.
Oh
how he deserved
this poem.
This wonderfully patient man
who continues to give and give
and totally support me.
I am still
overwhelmed
with the depth
and support he provides.
It's amazing.
It's beautiful
and it makes me feel
special.
I'm getting the job done
because of him
and I really wanted him
to know it.
Better still,
I'm calm,
I'm thinking
and I'm moving forward.
God bless you John.
About This Poem
Last Few Words: There is a wonderful man in one of my organizations who believes in me and teaches me what to do, and how to get things done. I have so much support from him. It's marvellous- exactly what I need to get this done.

A very nice...
tribute to someone who has helped you in hard times. More people should let the people who have helped them, have some recognition. -Geez.

Response to Geezer
He is still helping me and every other member of that club. He is amazing. I gave him another poem, which was very personal. He was totally shocked that I did it. I was thinking what I should do to thank him, and the only way I could was to write a poem for him. That is all I could think of. He even responds to my emails in the early hours of the morning. What can I say! And, he continues to encourage me.
