Characters Remembered
It is hard to find just one character from my past
Memories of those early days go by so fast
It could be Buffalo Bob and Howdy Duty
Or Cinderella the famous beauty
Maybe Tonto and the famous Lone Ranger
Or Superman saving us from danger
Sometime Romper Room entered our hearts
Or the Mickey Mouse club for starts
My favorite characters moved each hour
But brought great memories to devour
Sitting in front of that black and white
Taught us how to read and write
Those days are gone but the memories stay
Allowing us to be a different character each day

I was...
sitting right there, alongside of you in front of the T.V. on Saturday morning. I was allowed to sit at my little table with my breakfast and watch my hero, then off to reenact today's episode outside of the kitchen window. You brought all that back with this one; your rhythm is pretty fair but needs a little trim here and there. Keep it up, good stuff. ~ Geez.
