Coffee Theater

There's a winged bug in my lukewarm coffee.

I'm not sure how it ended up here. Maybe I was careless,
but I feel no animosity toward it.

I don't know how to save a caffeine-buzzed, drowning insect,
but the important thing is that I'm going to try.

Coffee Theater

Hello, Michael,

This is so relatable.  I pick spiders up with a cloth and take them outside.  Occasionally, there is a death of some sort of bug in the house.  I find myself feeling empathy toward it. Co-existing is a quandary.

Love the "caffeine-buzzed drowning" description.  Kind of a party, kinda not.  :)

Thank you!

L
