Color Me... [March Contest]
Your colors aren't the same as mine
I mean, you see them differently than me
for you, red is anger and being mad at things
My red brings warmth, like the blood that runs through your heart
or the color that fills my face when you look at me
Your blue is sad and weary, the tears of a deity
the water of a slow death
Blue... blue for me is calm, like a lake on a quiet day
placid and serene, lazy, peaceful
like lungs full of air to live
Green is solid and steady, and I feel comforted
like when I see a silver hair of mine
woven in a nest of tan under the eaves
made for a Spring family of brown sparrows
And their voices chirp yellow notes to my ears
White, the color of all mixed together like whipped cream
is too hard to look at for long, but necessary to separate
single hues and keep the peace
And BLACK ! The absence of light divided and non-existent
puts everything in perspective

dear Gee,
your write is so much more mellow than mine which is a good thing. it makes me feel like smiling. you gave each color its very own personality. I'd like to read killer's take on this contest! good work and good luck.

Yes...
a mellow mood today! I'm sure that Killer would have a different view of colors, maybe he will tell me about them. I hear that he is making his way back and I think that he will have some tales to tell. I'm glad to make you smile, I love to have my friends smiling and happy! Pretty soon, we will turn our clocks ahead to gain that extra hour back, I wish that we would just let it be.
I'm lazy about turning them back and forth, only the clocks that are digital and the kitchen clock on the wall are right all winter, [chuckle to myself] because the others are too hard to reach without standing on a chair or something. Hurry up time! I want to see how eddy sees the rainbow! ~ Geez.
