Conflict

Conversation off-keyed
by misinterpretation.
Take a bow and leave
or stay, crushed
by accusing words
that give birth
to more frustration.
Is there any question
where lies my choice be?

Hi Alid

I guess this is a result of what comments were exchanged in the poem published in stream by Joe...please do not be upset...misunderstandings or misinterpretations can happen...I am sure Gee will appreciate your explanation...

may peace prevail...

One of the reasons that I write is to let out some steam when something irritates me so that I can forget and forgive and move on. As you have seen in my reply to Gee, all's well.

I apologise...

I went off without thinking. I should know better than to think that of you. You are consistently a poet that gives credit where due and I will just attribute my rash comments to the fact that I am in my third week of no cigarettes after 55yrs! Forgive me please! ~ Gee

Come to think of it, maybe I gave the wrong impression with my conversation. Anyway, let's not talk about it anymore. I'm just glad it's over with. I heard that trying to quit smoking is tough. I'm lucky my dad is very struct with the "no cigarrette" policy that makes me a non-smoker until now. Well. its tough but you know what, if its going to improve on your health, you just got to do what you got to do. All the best.

I'll be praying for you,
Alid
