Death So True
When death becomes
the inevitable
full stop
who can erase
or add another stop
none never
So all oldies like you and I
think of the distance
between our last coma
and final full stop
You so boldly say
Dead
on behalf of poets of lure
who by now since 1976
must have gone away
for ever for sure
speak nothing else
but of death
yet unsure
Full stop.

Did you mean...
coma or comma? I didn't get the reference of 1976. Can you enlighten me?

comma, betweenbirth and end of life, then comes the finalfull stop
when?
no one knows
and some one wrote a poem here
all ole poets of 1976 must now be dead
when they were old nearing their end
they spoke only of death
poems they composed
we speak of death but softly

1976 seems...
A long time ago, but I'm sure that there are some of the ole poets alive yet. They have just passed on to other realms. Feeling stagnant here myself. The revival hasn't happened. Too bad. ~ Gee.

sad be not Gee
there aren't many gems in the sea
till this site introduces
poem read by how many
like all sites do
stagnation is meant
for both me and you
I have been here for over a decade
still feeling cold
LIKE I am unbalanced
as a one legged
glad at least we converse with one another
Stan does only at times
he is MUCH too busy
into rhymes
NOW hope he sn't thinking of crimes
just coz it with his poetry rhymes
