Deep Hibernation
Come December
one week is over
my pop was born
over a century
in early
December
my nephew
was born in this very month
come mid December
I got my first job
also as then
waiting for Xmas now
then comes the end
of another wonderful year..
now your poems must earn
laurels
I don;t enter
contests
so many like you do
you all now hear...
so great
are all of you
one day we all will hibernate
some early some late
as we dance across memory lanes
of times of snowing December
so why not enjoy life
without fear
let December come
and
Go!....

You seem...
to remember a lot of December blessings. Nice thing about it, is that when all is said and done, memories are the most durable things that you can keep.

December
This is my last hurrah. I get seasonal depression. I don’t medicate. I do want one of those lights to sit in front of.
This year I’m trying a different approach and I’m hoping I’m not quite as sad or blah.

I hope ...
it works! I usually make fun of the stuff that bothers me. If you are laughing at it, it becomes less scary. I've laughed until I've cried, but never cried until I've laughed. I get it with the light-thing. I have some of those plastic glow-in-the-dark stars, on my ceiling in my bedroom. I also have painted comets and constellations with glow in the dark paint! I have a black-light in my room and when I am truly stressed out or just need a little bit of alone-time. I turn the light on for a few minutes and then turn it out. I made up my own constellations and named some of them. I have Dragonista Nebula, the Enterprise Cloud, etc.
For Christmas a couple of years ago, I gave all my grandchildren black-light water-based paints and some brushes. They loved them and asked for some again. I give them on birthdays too. Maybe this might work for you? I'll bet the kids would love it! Spend time with the kids. It's hard to be sad with kids around. ~ Geez.

I never skip...
any of your work lovedly. I sometimes forget where I am, but I always manage to read your stuff. I feel like even if I can't manage to wrap my mind around it, I still always get something from it! ~ Geez.

You're very creative!
Some times I marvel on your poetic creation. Pure description and unique design of thought. Inclusive creative discourse.
