Morning

The edge of the night makes the air chilly,
Contrasting temperatures makes the grass dewy.
Refreshing the world with a sprinkling of diamonds,
Astounding me with the sparkles of a rainbow,
Aspiring to grasp my thoughts of being reborn,

I walk across the grass leaving a virgin trace
Wandering near to the placid lakes cool face.
There the quiet soaked my spirit yet lifted it.
Elegant young trees reached for the waters.
Not afraid of the freezing mist arising there.

It seemed to be amusing itself as the sun rose
Inspiring me, as it painted a scene for the day
I missed the romantic feelings as the night fled,
There the dark peace had embraced me well,
I shall await the night where I seem to be free.
