Doing The Work

Sometimes the way is not clear,
but today I’ll try to get my bearings
for the things that are important

We’ll sit down in the morning,
over coffee, to see what we can see
and settle the debts we owe

Doing The Work

Hello, Michael,
I truly love minimal poetry, especially when the words are well chosen and leave the reader with a sense of finality or decision, or just a simple observation. I get that feeling here without needing to know any more details. The thought here is very universal, and still feels personal to your subject. It also has a positive attitude, which gives it even more substance.
Thank you!
L
