Dreamland

If only I weren't so impulsive
I might just take time to see
Whatever it is in me that pulses
And offer some sincerity

I'm sorry you're so lost in anguish
Maybe it'd help you to dream
Of a world where we have more than wishes
There would you meet me for tea?

Tell me your sorrows, your sorries, your fears
And together we'll drink til we can't
I'll listen to learn I needn't be more than ears
Rest your eyes in case they go aslant

We'll go for a walk through a clearing
It's clear this dream is one we share
We know it's just us that they're fearing
But just us just can't seem to care

Tell me the reasons for your tides of tears
And together we'll make the world new
But after all seasons, and when the dust clears
We may wish for a different view

Thank you!

Thank you for the kind welcome and for catching my mistake, it seems I still forget to slow down and double check my impulses despite what I wrote about above.
