Dreams
Images tied together with strings of hope
are but glimpses of the past renovated
to meet the demands of the future.
Minute pauses that bridge the gap of
reality with the unknown world of
tomorrow.
Today’s dreams are merely fragmented
reflections of one ‘s innermost being
transmitted through nerve fibers and
projected onto individual screens.

dear Clentin,
basically, write a poem, post it and go read other poems and comment/critique them (note rudely) to be of help to other poets. when you receive comments, respond to them. you can enter contests, too or join workshops to learn different styles of poetry. if you need help just ask a advocate and they will help you. have an enjoyable time here.
*hugs, Cat

Dreamy
There are two layers. The language itself conveys a dreamlike state yet I feel like we are speaking more about aspirations. Either way, it’s very good.

Give the site a little time. I’ve been here for a few and I’m still navigating it. We are glad to have to here posting such wonderful stuff.

Hello, Clentin,
I am not completely certain of your intent, but your poem reminds me of a book I've read called The Four Agreements which professes that our lives are dreams created by society and the rules of our cultures much more than our own individual personal talents and desires. I am curious to read your response. Very introspective! The second stanza is especially thoughtful.
Thank you!
