Eggshells

Dare I speak
Dare I move
May I think?
or even breathe?

One misstep
One wrong decision
One misspoken word
could cause an eruption

Rolling thunder
and cracking lightning
like the snap of a whip
breaking the sound barrier

One of these days
your voice will cause the walls to crumble
a reaction
from the sound of my whispers

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

Your poem "Eggshells" effectively captures the sense of caution and fear of consequences in interpersonal communication. The imagery of rolling thunder and cracking lightning conveys the potential impact of words and actions on relationships. The repetition of "One" emphasizes the weight of each moment and decision. Consider further exploring the emotional depth behind the fear of speaking up and the consequences of silence. Additionally, you may want to experiment with varying the structure or form to enhance the impact of your message.
